Introduction
I'm Beau, aka Daddy on Demand. I'm a queer virtual assistant focused on supporting other queer folks who are artists, freelancers, entrepreneurs, performers & entertainers, event organizers and also queers who may require discretion in their work. There’s no shortage of virtual assistants, but finding someone you vibe with, who is passionate about your work and who you may feel more comfortable working with is challenging.My goal as a queer virtual assistant is to offer you easy, creative solutions to the boring, tedious and time-consuming admin and background work that goes along with being self-employed so you can actually enjoy your creative processes. I also offer pro bono content creation for crowd funding and mutual aid efforts.My background has largely been in operations, management and merchandising in the retail and service industries.I spent more than two decades working in stressful, chaotic environments for large companies where I had to mask my personality, appearance, values, disabilities and gender to keep a roof over my head. The opportunity to work for myself and with other queers is one I've been waiting to seize for a long time and I'm stoked to be here.When I'm not hyper focusing on Canva or spreadsheets, I like to hyper focus on photography, thrifting, weight training, disability justice, queer history, neuroscience, kink and art and spend entirely too much time researching my ever-expanding collection of food sensitivities.
